Vote 2
By Dale V.
Nobbman
This week on the
radio I heard
there is an
estimated 60
million
Christians in
America, but
only half
of them are
expected to
actually cast
votes in the
upcoming very
important
general
election.
If true,
this is a very
'sad' fact
indeed.
In order
to maintain a
Christian
nation,
Christians must
act upon
their beliefs,
and one easy way
to do so--is to
'VOTE' for
candidates who
will best
represent and
defend Christian
principles in
America.
If all 60
million
voting
age
Christians would
cast votes, how
much do you
suppose an extra
30 million
Christian voters
could impact the
upcoming
election in a
positive way
towards keeping
America a
Christian
nation?
The
answer is
obvious.
But even
if you do not
approve of
either
'presidential'
candidate, for
whatever reason,
and do not plan
to cast a vote
for
president--there
are still many
other candidates
to vote for at
all levels of
government.
American
government does
not 'begin and
end' in the
White House.
In order
to change the
'course' of
government, it
must take place
at ALL levels of
government,
which includes
local school
boards, town
boards, city
councils, county
boards, state
officials, state
legislators,
judges at all
levels, and the
election of the
'right'
representives to
the House and
Senate in
Washington D.C.,
etc, etc, etc.
There are
so many votes to
cast besides a
vote for
president.
For those of you
who do plan to
cast a vote for
president, the
choice between
the two
candidates is as
'clear cut' as
can be when
casting your
Christian vote.
There is
only one
candidate who is
for the
'Defense of
Marriage Act'
and at the same
time is
against
Same-Sex
Marriage,
Abortion on
Demand,
Taxpayer-Funded
Abortion, and
Mandated
Contraceptive
Coverage by
Religious
Charities.
That same
candidate also
supports a
Balanced Budget
Amendment.
America
currently seems
to be faced with
a variety of
severe
consequences for
rejecting God,
and more
consequences
will undoubtedly
befall our
nation until
positive changes
are made to
invite God back
into all levels
of our
government and
institutions.
As with
Moses and the
sons of Israel
at Mt. Sinai,
when Moses said,
“Whoever is for
the Lord, come
to me!”—the day
is now at hand
when the
citizens of our
great nation,
the United
States of
America, need to
decide if we
will once again
follow the Lord.
“But if serving
the LORD seems
undesirable to
you, then choose
today
whom you will
serve…but as for
me and my
household, we
will serve the
LORD” (Joshua
24:15)
TODAY
is November 6,
2012!
Dear
Christians--your
votes DO
count,
especially if we
combine our vote
with the votes
of potentially
60 million other
Christians.
Please...cast
your VOTES
on November
6th.
