The Undeniable Truth of (9/11) and the Church in America
By
Harry
Oliver
“For
it will
come as
a snare
on all
those
who
dwell on
the face
of the
whole
earth.
Watch
therefore,
and pray
always
that you
may be
counted
worthy
to
escape
all
these
things
that
will
come to
pass,
and to
stand
before
the Son
of Man”
(Luke
21:35-38).
I am
convinced
based on
everything
that has
transpired
since
that
day,
that
9/11 was
the
catalyst
for the
conclusion
of this
age. Kit
Olsen
wrote in
her
book,
A Better
World
Is
Coming
Soon-
Don’t
Miss It,
on page
43:
“Never
before
has
Israel,
the only
democracy
in the
Middle
East
received
as much
pressure
and
derogatory
interference
from the
“Washington
elite”
as now.”
On page
46 she
states,
“America
is now
experiencing
the
consequences
of
Middle
East
policies,
which
have
been
opposed
to God’s
Word and
to the
preservation
of His
covenant
land.”
During
the last
presidential
election
I was
convinced
that
Barack
Obama
would
win a
second
term in
the
White
House,
because,
I
believe
he has
been
chosen
by God
to lead
America
to the
conclusion
of its
prophetic
destiny.
I am
also
convinced
that on
September
11,
2001,
America
and the
nations
of this
world
dropped
into the
birth
canal of
the time
of
Jacob’s
trouble.
America
will be
a big
catalyst
for
Israel’s
total
isolation
on the
world
stage,
because
she has
a date
with God
in the
coming
Tribulation
discipline.
(The
United
States)
is being
used by
God for
the
fulfillment
of Bible
prophecy.
In my
heart I
believe
that
America
has
fallen
and will
be the
last
human
superpower
on this
earth.
As we
know the
next one
to rise
will be
empowered
by that
which is
not
human.
And
still
the
apostate
church
sleeps…
In the
wake of
9/11
many
congregations
had
standing
room
only
crowds.
After
the Twin
Towers
fell, a
dazed,
fearful,
heartbroken
and
desperate
nation
flocked
into the
churches
of
America,
hoping
that
someone
could
explain
the why
of such
a
horrific
act. Was
it an
act of
God’s
judgment
or
wrath?
Maybe
the
preachers
could
explain,
WHY?
They
packed
the
Houses
of
Worship
in
record
numbers
looking
for THE
TRUTH.
But
instead,
what
they
found
were
confused,
unprepared
preachers
and
Christians
who had
no real
answers
to the
questions
which
the
masses
were
begging
for. An
unprepared
church
failed
to
provide
the
answers
they
craved,
and with
every
catastrophe
and
crisis
that has
followed
since
9/11
(from
Katrina
to the
economic
crisis
of
today),
the
church
in
America
has
repeated
the same
treachery.
In the
aftermath
of that
horrific
and
infamous
day as
the
vivid
memory
of
falling
buildings
and
death
faded
into
cleanup
and
recovery.
The
first
segment
of
American
society
that
quickly
got back
to
business
as usual—the
churches
in
America.
What
9/11
graphically
exposed
is the
true
condition
of the
church
in
America,
how far
it has
strayed
from THE
TRUTH
and the
heart of
God. How
sidetracked
and
totally
out-of-sync
with the
true
purpose
of God
this
world it
has
become.
And as a
consequence,
how
pointless
and
irrelevant
it is.
Instead
of
influencing
society,
the
church
has
allowed
itself
to be
influenced
by
society.The
vast
majority
of the
church
in
America
has lost
Christ’s
savor,
and has
become
good for
nothing
except
to be
cast out
and
trodden
down
under
the feet
of men
(which
means to
be
scorned,
rejected,
ignored,
and
treated
as
worthless
and
irrelevant
(Matthew
5:13).
In
America,
the
absolute
truth of
the
Gospel
of
Christ
has been
smothered
by the
sudden
wave of
religious
pluralism
that is
now
controlling
American
society.
Giving
way to a
new
pick-and-
choose
form of
religion—where
the
beliefs
from all
the
world’s
religions
have
been
married
into one
of
tolerance,
love,
and the
“acceptance
of
others.”
Tragically,
large
segments
of
American
Christianity
espouse
these
new
views.
The
absolute
and
exclusive
claims
that
Christ
made, to
be the
ONLY
WAY, THE
ONLY
TRUTH,
THE ONLY
LIFE,
AND THE
ONLY WAY
TO THE
FATHER
are
rejected,
and have
been
neatly
and
nearly
outlawed
in
American
society
viewed
as
hateful,
intolerant,
extremist,
ignorant
and
insensitive
to other
religions.
Judgment
begins
at the
house of
God (1
Peter
4:17).
Ed
Hindson,
in his
book,
The Book
of
Revelation:
Unlocking
the
Future,
said, “A
careful
study of
the book
of the
Revelation
clearly
confirms
the
truth of
this:
Before
God
pours
out His
wrath on
the
unbelieving
Christ
rejecting
world
during
the
Tribulation,
and the
Great
Tribulation,
in
chapters
6-18, He
first
confronts
the
churches
in
chapters
2-3,
calling
them to
repentance.”
Why? If
the
churches
are not
the
proper
expression
of His
truth
and
righteousness,
how can
they
influence
the
world
for
Christ?
God’s
perfect
justice
will not
permit
Him to
allow
pride,
falsehood,
idolatry,
immorality
and
greed in
the
church
while
condemning
the
world
for the
same
wickedness.
The Lord
Jesus
Christ
is
coming
back to
complete
(bring
to a
whole
entire
unbroken
conclusion)
what He
finished
at His
First
Coming
(1 John
3:8;
5:19;
Revelation
19:11-16;
20:1-3).
He is
coming
back to
reclaim
the
throne
of His
earth
(Psalm
2:7-8).
The
earth
right
now is
being
prepared
to that
end.
Based on
the
empirical
evidence
confronting
us daily
on the
stage of
human
history,
I am
convinced
that
September
11, 2001
(9/11),
marked
the
introduction
of God’s
final
judgment
on
mankind’s
attempt
to order
and
govern
life on
planet
Earth in
rebellion
against
His
sovereignty
and
supremacy.
The 9/11
event
was the
inauguration
day of a
new
global
order,
as it
appears
that God
has
thrown
the
gauntlet
of
challenge
on human
rebellion
in our
time.
The
tragedy
of 9/11
was
without
a doubt
a
wake-up
call for
America
and the
nations
of this
world. A
demand
for
repentance!
But
first
and
foremost
it was a
demand
for
repentance
from
the
church
in
America.
Tragically
the vast
majority
of the
professing
church
failed
to
recognize
the hand
of God
in the
events
of 9/11,
and
still
today
does not
recognize
that His
hand of
loving
judgment
is upon
His
church,
in order
to
purge,
purify,
cleanse,
polish,
and
prepare
us to be
with Him
(Ephesians
5:1-17,
25-27).
In this
post
9/11
hour
everyone
who
names
the name
of
Christ
should
be
asking
this
question:
“Is what
I
believe,
what I
teach,
and what
I hold
to be
true,
compatible
or in
opposition
to the
ultimate
purpose
of God,
as He
has
ordained
to
accomplish
it?”
God’s
ultimate
purpose
has been
revealed
in the
writings
of the
prophets,
and
confirmed
in the
New
Testament
writings
of the
Apostles.
The
ultimate
purpose
of God,
that He
has
designed
and
resolved
to
accomplish,
is that
He be
glorified
in His
own
creation
by the
reversal
of the
curse of
man’s
sin
(Revelation
21:1-5).
The
precise
goal and
purpose
of God
in human
history
is to
bring
glory to
Himself,
by
bringing
all
creation
under
the
Headship
Authority
of Jesus
Christ,
which is
the
summing
up of
all
things
in
Christ
(Ephesians
1:9-10;
Genesis
3:15).
The
rapid
descent
of the
culture
of the
church
into
full
blown
apostasy,
over the
twelve
years
since
the
tragedy
of
September
11, 2001
(9/11),
leaves
no doubt
in my
mind
that
9/11 was
a
confrontation
of the
church
here in
America.
I am
convinced
that all
of the
theological
and
doctrinal
presuppositions
held by
the
various
camps in
Christianity,
with the
spiritual
ideologies
and
philosophies
that
have
developed
from
them
have
been
called
to
accountability
by the
realities
that
have
unfolded
on the
stage of
human
history,
consequent
to 9/11.
The
prophetic
stage-setting
events
that
continue
to
unfold
in
Israel,
the
world
geopolitics
and
economies,
in
society
and
religion,
are
dividing
truth
from
error in
our
theology/doctrines.
After
all,
every
view
cannot
be
right!
We all
need to
stop and
do an
honest
evaluation
and
examination
of what
we hold
to be
the
truth,
in light
of the
realities
confronting
us on a
daily
basis.
Does
what we
believe
to be
the
truth
match up
with
God’s
reality
unfolding
on the
earth?
A Quick
Lesson
on
Presupposition
Our
theological
and
doctrinal
presuppositions
color
our
understanding
of
truth.
Whatever
we
presuppose
to be
true, is
true to
us. It
creates
our
perspective
on life.
Perspective
is a
specific
point of
view in
understanding
and
judging
things
and
events,
as well
as the
purposes
of God.
It
creates
mental
pictures.
Your
perception
is your
reality
(what is
real to
you).
Your
reality
creates
your
presuppositions—what
you
presuppose
or take
for
granted
to be
true.
What we
believe
to be
true,
RIGHT OR
WRONG
determines
our
approach
in
dealing
with
God. It
determines
our
actions,
decisions,
as well
as the
allocation
of our
resources
(our
time,
efforts,
and our
money).
If what
we
presuppose
to be
true is
based on
the
error of
faulty
theology
and
doctrine,
the
focus of
what we
do, how
and when
we do
what we
do, will
be in
error
and in
opposition
to God.
One such
theological/doctrinal
presupposition
that is
in
opposition
to God
is the
error of
Replacement
Theology.
Given
the
events
surrounding
the
nation
of
Israel
in
fulfillment
of
prophecy,
the
situation
has
become
critical
in our
time.
Most of
the
church
today
has been
infected
by this
cancer.
Those
who
frequent
the
Rapture
Ready
site are
familiar
with
Replacement
Theology.
In
Genesis
12:3,
God said
to
Abram,
“I will
bless
those
who
bless
you, and
I will
curse
those
who
curse
you.”
The
Hebrew
word
Arar is
one of
the six
common
Hebrew
words
translated
as,
curse.
Arar has
been
interpreted
as
meaning
to bind
(with a
spell),
to hem
in with
obstacles,
to
render
powerless,
to
resist.
Those
who
curse
Abram
(Abraham)
and his
descendants
are
those
who
treat
him
lightly,
despise
him, or
treat
him with
contempt,
calling
him less
than
what is
clearly
spelled
out in
Scripture.
The
dominant
view in
Christianity
has been
Replacement
Theology,
which
teaches
that the
Christian
church
is now
the “new
Israel.”
Replacement
theology
essentially
teaches
that the
church
has
replaced
Israel
in God’s
plan.
Adherents
of
Replacement
Theology
believe
that
because
the Jews
crucified
Jesus
Christ,
they are
no
longer
God’s
chosen
people,
and God
does not
have a
specific
future
plan for
the
nation
of
Israel.
Replacement
Theology
teaches
that the
church
is the
replacement
for
Israel
and that
the many
promises
made to
Israel
in the
Bible
are
fulfilled
in the
church
(the new
and
better
Israel).
Apparently
the old
Israel
messed
up too
badly
for God
to
forgive
them. So
the
prophecies
in the
Scriptures
concerning
the
blessing
and
restoration
of
Israel
to the
Promised
Land are
spiritualized
or
allegorized
into
promises
of God’s
blessing
for the
church.
This
damnable
teaching
I
believe,
is part
of the
reason
for the
powerless,
worthless
condition
that
exists
in the
cult of
popular
church
culture
today.
Adherents
of
Replacement
Theology
have in
effect
spoken a
curse on
Abraham
and his
descendants,
which
God
Himself
did not
speak
(Jeremiah
31:31-37;
33:25;
Zechariah
8:1-8,
22,23;
Romans
11:1-36),
and as a
consequence
has
called a
curse
upon
itself,
and is
being
resisted
by God.
The
church
age
parameters
are the
First
and
Second
Comings
of
Christ.
An
analogy
between
the two
advents
of our
Lord,
shows
that the
history
of the
nation
of
Israel—is
repeating
itself
in the
professing
church.
As it
was in
connection
with the
Lord’s
First
Advent
so it is
concerning
His
Second
Advent.
Just as
there
were
clear
unmistakable
signs
preparing
the way
for the
beginning
of the
administration
of grace
in
Christ,
there
are
today
clear
unmistakable
signs
making
the
world
ready
for the
end of
the
administration
of grace
and the
Lord’s
Second
Advent.
Just as
the
leaders
of
Israel,
because
of their
pride,
arrogance,
greed,
blindness,
and
ignorance
of their
prophetic
Scriptures,
missed
the
clear
signs
that
were
screaming
at them
in the
person
of Jesus
Christ—their
long
awaited
Messiah,
and as a
consequence,
caused
the
people
to join
them in
their
treachery
crucifying
Christ
out of
their
ignorance.
In the
same way
many of
the
leaders
in the
professing
church,
today,
because
of their
pride,
arrogance,
greed,
blindness,
and
ignorance
of the
prophetic
Scriptures
are once
again in
fulfillment
of a key
sign of
the
times,
preaching
“doctrines
of
demons”
causing
the
people
to walk
in
ignorance
and
delusion,
crucifying
the Son
of God
again,
by
falling
away
from the
true
faith,
into
worldliness
and
carnality
(1
Timothy
4:1-2;
Hebrews
6:4-8).
There is
no going
back...
Crisis
is
upon the
church!
God is
calling,
what I
believe,
to
accountability.
He is
preparing
to
vindicate
His
holiness,
and the
absolute
truth of
His Word
as it is
written
and
correctly
interpreted.
That
includes
the
future
of the
nation
of
Israel
(Jeremiah
24:6-8;
Zechariah
12:10).
He is
even now
creating
crisis
in the
church.
The
words
coming
from the
pulpits
of the “
the cult
of
popular
church
culture”
are
hollow
and
irrelevant
in light
of what
is
unfolding
on the
real
time
stage of
human
history.
They
don’t
add up.
They
don’t
make
sense.
God is
preparing
to
expose
the
false
foundations
of those
who lead
His
people
astray
and into
futility,
by
speaking
words of
their
own
hearts
and vain
imaginations,
and not
from the
Lord
(Jeremiah
23:16-22
and 1
Corinthians
10:1-14).
A
distinction
will be
made in
the
motives
of those
who
stand
before
the
people
of God.
He will
no
longer
tolerate
His name
being
blasphemed
by those
who use,
abuse,
and
misrepresent
the name
of THE
LORD
JESUS
CHRIST.
Judgment
has
begun at
the
house of
God. God
is
confronting
to make
a
distinction
between
the true
and the
false.
The
events
of
September
11,
2001,
and what
has
followed
as a
consequence
here in
America,
and the
nations
of this
world,
are
being
used by
God to
BRING
the
Truth
into
clear
focus.
How Low
Can We
Go?
It’s a
wrap—something
is about
to go
down.
Things
are
about to
be
brought
to God’s
predetermined
conclusion.
According
to
biblical
prophecy
we are
living
in the
final
scenes
of this
earth’s
history.
While
the vast
majority
of the
professing
church
has
slept
since
the
events
of 9/11,
the
players
for the
final
scenes
have
quietly
taken
their
places.
The
political,
economic,
cultural,
and
spiritual
conditions
that
have
been
determined
by God
and
revealed
in His
Word are
in
place.
All that
is
needed
is a
catalyst,
a spark,
to set
things
into
motion
toward
conclusion.
The
apostate
condition
that
exists
in much
of the
professing
church
is
itself
the key
end-time
sign
that,
in our
time,
this
present
world is
preparing
to give
birth to
the
Antichrist
(2
Thessalonians
2:1-12).
Bible
prophecy
reveals
that
there
will be
the
dramatic
falling
away
from
true
biblical
doctrine
that we
are
witnessing
today.
In 2
Peter
2:1-3,
the
condition
that has
been
occurring
since
the
beginning
of the
church
is
described
and has
accelerated
in our
time.
False
teachers
have
indeed
risen up
amongst
us. Many
of the
heresies
that
they
have
introduced
are
destructive
distortions
of
biblical
Christianity.
As
predicted
many
have
followed
their
sensuality
into an
incremental
step-by-step
progression
into
full-blown
apostasy
(2
Timothy
3:13).
Today’s
apostate
church
of the
last of
the last
days is
setting
the
stage
for, and
itself
will be
absorbed
into the
apostate
church
of the
Tribulation
era. The
cult of
popular
church
culture,
because
of its
corruption
and
distortion
of the
Truth of
God’s
Word is
laying
the
final
bricks
in the
foundation
of the
religious
aspect
of
mystery
Babylon,
the
great
whore of
Revelation
(Revelation
17:1-5).
It has
in our
time
departed
so far
from the
biblical
faith
that was
once and
for all
delivered
to the
saints
(Jude
4), that
it can
now fall
no
further
than
into the
total
depravity
of the
Christendom
that
will be
consumed
by the
Antichrist
in the
Great
Tribulation
(Revelation
17:16-17).
Professing
Christians
have
been
seduced
away
from
biblical
truth by
the
doctrines
of
demons
being
proclaimed
by false
teachers,
many
themselves
deceived,
who are
being
used as
agents
of the
devil to
promote
the
delusions
of
falsehood
which
are
nothing
more
than
lies and
forgeries
(1
Timothy
4:1-2).
Sadly
once the
Truth is
corrupted
and
distorted
it takes
on a
life of
its own.
The
professing
cult of
popular
church
culture
is full
of
corrupted
and
distorted
truth,
which
has
produced
a people
who have
no true
knowledge
of God
as He
has
revealed
Himself
in His
Word.
And what
the most
frightening
reality
is this:
They are
convinced
that
they do,
because
they
have
accepted
the lies
being
fed to
them as
the
Truth.
Each one
of us
must
search
our
hearts
and take
personal
inventory
and be
absolutely
sure
that we
are
walking
in-step
with the
holy
Savior,
Jesus
the
Christ.
We have
reached
a point
that is
like no
other,
when the
day is
fast
approaching
when
those
who
belong
to Him
will
hear His
shout,
“Come up
here.”
Be sure
you are
among
those
who are
“counted
worthy
to
escape
these
things”
(Luke
21:36).
