What Are We to
Do Then?
By Mindy Silva
Many people
wonder what it
is that we need
to do once we
have committed
our lives to
God.
Well, here’s the
“DO
LIST” so
there’s no
wondering
anymore.
We are to:
Set
our minds on
things above,
not on things of
the earth.
Not lie
to one another.
Let
the peace of God
rule in our
hearts.
Be
thankful.
Let
the word of
Christ dwell in
us richly: In
all wisdom;
teaching;
admonishing one
another; in
psalms; hymns;
spiritual songs;
singing with
grace in our
hearts to the
Lord.
We are to in
whatever we do
in word or deed
all in the name
of the Lord
Jesus giving
thanks to God
the Father
through Him
(and) do it
heartily as to
the Lord and not
to Man.
We are to know
that we will
receive the
reward of the
inheritance, for
we serve Jesus
Christ.
We are to know
that if we do
wrong, we will
be repaid for
what we have
done, for there
is no
partiality.
We are to put to
death:
Fornication,
uncleanness,
passion, evil
desire, and
covetousness,
which is
idolatry.
We are to put
off
anger, wrath,
malice,
blasphemy,
filthy language,
the old man and
his deeds.
We are to put on
the new man, who
is renewed in
knowledge
according to the
image of Him by
whom he was
created as the
elect of
God─holy and
beloved, with
tender mercies;
kindness,
humility,
meekness,
longsuffering,
and love, which
is the bond of
purification.
